I had the pulled pork, okra, and beans. The portions are good sized, my parents said that they should have ordered one sandwich and split it.

I think this place rates 5 stars but go in knowing it’s a standard small, in-a-mall, hole in the wall but with great BBQ! Their decor is based on fire stations and their memorabilia. Their sauces are the bottled versions but the meat was very good and didn’t need sauce. I’m not a fan of the chunky cole slaw but everything else was great. We’ve gone twice and always love the choices! We will go back again!!

Local family true bbq joint. Had the brisket which was excellent. Good smoke ring around the outside and awesome flavor. Not dry at all but moist and delicious. Baked beans rivaled mamas and real sweet tea too!!!Go here for sure!!!

Stopped in here for a quick bite to eat when passing through. The loaded fries were awesome. The fries were crispy and the brisket was tender and juicy.

This is the Best BBQ meat in the area! The brisket was tender, flavorful & well trimmed. The pulled chicken was meaty & moist. For just under 20$ I received more food than I could eat at one sitting! Nice people & community members operate the restaurant. I will definitely go back!!!!!

Great food and super friendly people. We actually met the owners a few years back, they moved up from Texas to start a BBQ restaurant and we were glad to see they made it and that it has some solid BBQ. They have a good selection of meats and sauces. You can smell the smoke from the parking lot and the prices are reasonable. Worth a stop!

Food was cold. The cook even came out to check on the warmth. I just got the plate and only had a bite of beans, which was warm for the first bite, but quickly went downhill from there. I won't go back

I was wonderfully surprised with how amazing this establishment is. Amazing food. The meat is so juicy and delicious you don’t need to coat it in bbq to enjoy the amazing flavor. The quality and quantity for the price cannot be beat. Service is amazing as well. Lily was a delight to talk to. I had the loaded brisket fries and the peach cobbler. I will be back. I love this place.

Stopped in for dinner for the BBQ potatoe...I'll tell you now...do not miss this...it was so good and smothered in perfect brisket. Love the Firehouse BBQ and you have a very happy and definite returning customerStop in and try it, you won't be disappointed.

Okay so I'm from the south and I know real BBQ this place was amazing. Highly recommend everyone on the peninsula to try them.

I love this place! In the middle of town conveniently located. The atmosphere is wonderful! They have memorabilia and so much stuff all over the walls and shelves. Great things to look at. The waitress was cheerful and sweet. The menu had a decent selection. I loved all the different BBQ sauces they offered. They gave me a large plate and a big drink!! Definitely got my money's worth!

My son said this is the best burger he's ever had and I am obsessed with the brisket and cobbler omg it looks so good in the new location a must see in soldotna

Went in for the grand opening and there was 2 waitresses..we ordered our drinks and never received them after sitting and waiting 15 mins and watching her serve people who came in way after us. Got so annoyed we finally just got up and left. We weren’t the only ones complaining-as we were walking out another family commented “tired of waiting to huh!” Maybe doing a grand opening u should have more than 2 waitresses!! Won’t return! Sure the food is good but guess we will never know!

Best BBQ I have ever eaten in Alaska! The baked beans are amazing. We had a variety of food, and it all contained a great smokey flavor rarely found in Alaska BBQ. The sweet tea is also great. They serve large portions so come hungry.

I keep coming back for more! This place has amazing staff. You do seat yourself and I didn't get that at first. The menu isn't too many choices, just the right amount. I didn't have time to eat everything but tried a little of almost everything. I didn't try the rotisserie chicken but wanted too. They had a BBQ sauce station with pickles and onions too. My favorite sauce was the smokey black pepper sauce(not hot).

At the time we visited, the owners were out of town and there were only 3 people working which made it a long wait. Despite that, they all did an excellent job. My pulled pork was smokey, juicy and full of flavor. We had a group of 6 and were well taken care of. I highly recommend the sundae. Deeelish.

Good food and great decor especially for those that love all things firefighting.

It was a really good place before they moved. Now it seems they're in over their heads.

Potato was HUGE and delicious, lots of leftovers. Burgers were okay, not a favorite. Fries were probably one of the best we've eaten.Roughly $80 for 4 entrees and 3 sweet teas.

Unassuming BBQ joint in Soldotna Alaska. The portions were generous, the brisket was smokey and tender, and they had a selection of sauces to choose from. Great, attentive service. The restaurant was clean and busy.

Food was beyond the description of words. Service was amazing, tea was the best I've had in years. I would recommend this place to everyone who loves bbq. 100/100. Thank you firehouse bbq for the best hot sauce in town.

Great BBQ, but a little pricey. The rotisserie chicken is seasoned perfect, huge, juicy, & a great value. Their loaded potato is a meal and second meal loaded with brisket & all the fixings. The couple that runs it are great. I hope her recovery goes smoothly.

One of the best pulled pork sandwiches I've ever had. Baked beans were also very good. For barbecue in Alaska it's pretty good.

The best bbq! Loved the Reindeer sausage. Lily was awesome.

The food and service aren't great! The baked potato wasn't done. I had to come home and finish cooking it. Maybe they are having an off night.
